MODO is in beta. A place in the program is a beginning, not a promise that every platform is ready today.
No public installer is verified for download yet.Checked 21 October 2026. We’ll email your installer link when the exact build is ready.

Online once. Local from there.
Your first activation needs an internet connection and the email registered for the beta. Open the sign-in email, confirm, and return to the installed app. Check Spam or Junk if the message is missing.
After activation, local design, saved projects, registered media and local export can work offline. Signing out or activating another computer needs online verification again. New font downloads, AI services, remote collaboration, publishing and sending bug reports need their respective connections.

Access is free during the beta. Expect bugs, keep backups of important work, and tell us when something gets in your way. Windows updates do not take one of the 1,000 beta places and do not grant app access. Linux release requirements are still being verified.
Minimum memory and disk recommendations, Linux distributions, Intel Mac support and Windows requirements have not been established for a public release. We’ll publish verified requirements with each installer. There is no automatic updater currently available.

Latest source work includes the Welcome and Recent projects experience, adding a Playground from Pages, offline Learn, and canvas and theme refinements. Final CI, signing, notarization and installer validation remain separate release steps. This candidate is not offered for download.

A Mac Apple Silicon candidate was signed and notarized and installed on the creator’s Mac. That does not verify the latest candidate, a working public download or installation on another Mac.
