Your work.
Your choices.
This page explains the website’s beta registration and optional analytics. It does not enable telemetry inside the MODO desktop app.
Your beta request
Gianluca Boccia operates MODO. The form saves your first and last name, email, requested operating system, optional country or region, consent choices and enrollment history. These details let us manage beta access, prevent duplicate places, send installer and sign-in emails, and support you.
Windows requests are stored separately as availability updates and do not grant beta access. Reusing an email does not take a second beta place. Only participants who choose to share publicly have their first name and optional country displayed; never their surname or email.
Hosting, database and email delivery services process the details needed to run this flow. Registration records are retained while needed to administer the beta and its access history. To request access, correction, removal or withdrawal from Windows updates, contact beta@inmodo.app. Withdrawing public-name consent does not require publishing your email.
Analytics is optional
Google Analytics loads only after you choose “Allow analytics”. Declining does not affect the site, downloads or beta access. You can change your choice through the display and privacy button in the corner of every page.
With permission, Google receives website page views and events describing a newly saved request or an installer link click. Event details are limited to platform, release version, architecture, package format and enrollment type. Names, email addresses, form text, countries entered in the form, sign-in links and URL query strings are not sent as event parameters. Opening an email recovery or confirmation page does not load analytics. If you submit a new beta request through its signup overlay and have allowed analytics, only the request event is counted; no private page view is sent. After successful verification, the private downloads area may load analytics with your consent to count installer choices; it does not send access links or a private page view.
Google processes technical visit information, including device and network information, under its own service practices. Analytics cookies may recognize repeat visits. Advertising signals and advertising personalization are disabled. Read Google’s privacy policy.
The site stores your analytics and reduced-motion preferences locally. A secure, HttpOnly cookie keeps verified download access for up to 14 days. The server stores hashed session identifiers and a one-use access-link record; signing out invalidates the session. If you withdraw analytics consent, future tracking is disabled and first-party Google Analytics cookies are removed. This does not retroactively delete data already processed by Google.
What the numbers mean
Analytics counts only consenting visitors. An installer click is a download request, not proof of a completed download or installation. Direct links opened from email may not produce a website analytics event. The enrollment database remains the source of truth for beta capacity and Windows requests.
Requests are associated with the verified release available for the selected platform at signup. Windows uses “not_available” until a release is verified. The form does not ask visitors to choose an installer version or CPU architecture.
