What changed, what is ready, and what still needs testing. Your projects stay local.
Your Design System, everywhere you work
Create dedicated Design System projects. Organize typed variables and collections, link offline libraries to new or existing projects, and review versioned updates. Figma imports open in Playgrounds with text and boolean variables. New optional in-app release notices.
Available for macOS and Linux.
Collections use project-wide modes. Nested library dependencies and automatic migration of breaking changes are not included. Native .fig imports still require the Figma bridge.

Existing beta members can receive an email when a new release is ready for their platform. Each update email includes an option to stop release notices; this does not affect beta access or sign-in emails.
Starting with alpha.4, MODO can also check for updates when it opens. Turn this off in App & profile, or check manually from Help → Check for updates. You can always keep working offline. The check sends no project content, account identity or activation tokens. Alpha.3 users receive this first update by email; its older app does not have the new in-app notice.
Platform notes.
Windows is still a separate updates list, with no installer or beta place assigned. A second physical Mac, other Linux distributions, Wayland and physical Linux GPU behavior remain unverified. Linux support is limited to the systems listed in the installation notes. Read all requirements and release limits before installing.
